VW Intranet

Vizards Wyeth is highly rated for its insurance litigation and commercial expertise, but in recent years, diversified significantly.

In order to improve internal communications, the firm commissioned SoftDesign to prepare an Intranet so that information could be distributed quickly and efficiently to the appropriate recipients.

The key features of the Intranet are firstly its ability to be updated easily without the need for any specialist expertise. In addition, documents are available in pretty much any format, so that no reformatting is ever necessary. Other facilities include RSS feeds from key web sites, a telephone list, a diary system and various document databases (e.g. a book library).

Whilst the Intranet is for all staff, the Partner section is reserved for confidential information that can be securely accessed by Partners only.
