Released on: 01/10/2008 Debenhams Ottaway Office RelocationDebenhams Ottaway solicitors were formed in September 2008 as a result of a merger between Turner & Debenhams and Ottaways solicitors. Due to the merger, staff from their respective offices needed to move into larger accommodation and SoftDesign were commissioned to complete the various office moves with regards to IT, networking and telephony. This work involved the introduction of new data and telecommunication links between two different offices, a new telephone system, the relocation of all IT services (including e-mail services) and active networking equipment to the new environment. Detailed project plans were prepared and implemented by SoftDesign, allowing staff to move with a minimum of disruption to their new loation. In completing the move, SoftDesign also supplied and configured 30 new PCs which were rolled out as part of a three year rolling programm The move and equipment roll-out were completed on time and within the allocated budget to everyone's delight.
