Managed Service - Squire and Co

Squire & Co, a firm of solicitors specialising in insurance and commercial litigation were keen to take advantage of the advances in Information Technology, they wanted to increase efficiency and streamline processes. Whilst they were aware of technologies available and had clear focus and direction on what they wanted to achieve, they were also conscious of their own limitations.

In their search for an IT partner they knew they wanted a support company who had proven specialist technical knowledge in the legal arena and the experience to put their ideas into practice.

With expansion and investment plans in mind, SoftDesign put forward a strategy in the form of a full Managed Services agreement. This includes covering support, hardware provisioning and projects in the immediate, short and long terms. This level of planning has enabled the firm to have a fixed annual IT budget, projects carried out in a phased and manageable fashion, and the firm receive a level of support that would not be justifiable using internal resources.
